“I don’t understaaaaaand!” I wailed at one of my best male friends during a mammoth three-hour phone catch up last week.
“He says he doesn’t want a relationship, but we speak practically every day, we go away for weekends, we have sex, we tell each other everything, we’re exclusive. It’s a RELATIONSHIP, right?! We’re in a relationship. That’s what a relationship *is*. What’s missing?”
“Um… Joy? Pleasure?” he replied.
The man has a point.
